Low-voltage distribution designed around visibility and controlled isolation
Data centers and other critical facilities depend on a documented electrical architecture. Essential and non-essential loads, cooling equipment, control power and facility services must be separated so a fault or maintenance action can be understood and contained by the designed protection scheme.
Bentong products can support selected low-voltage protection, switching and local-control positions within this architecture. They do not replace the project power-quality, UPS, generator, transfer or protection-coordination studies required for a complete critical-power system.
Key electrical requirements
Defined load criticality
Classify data, cooling, safety, control and general-service loads before assigning distribution paths.
Controlled fault isolation
Use a verified protection study to limit the effect of a downstream fault where practical.
Operational visibility
Maintain clear circuit names, device references and status interfaces for facilities teams.
Change control
Keep BOMs and panel schedules consistent as capacity is added or equipment is replaced.
Recommended system approach
Classify the loads
Map critical, support and general-service circuits to the project's redundancy and maintenance strategy.
Structure distribution levels
Define main, feeder and final-circuit protection from the single-line diagram and available fault levels.
Coordinate facility equipment
Apply switching and local controls to suitable cooling, ventilation and auxiliary loads without mixing their operational roles.
Standardize documentation
Align device references, labels, panel schedules and spare lists across repeated rooms and project stages.
Product roles within the solution
Molded case circuit breakers
Selected feeder protection for distribution and facility-service panels, subject to the coordination study.
Final-distribution breakers
Branch protection for suitable control, monitoring and general auxiliary circuits.
AC contactors
Controlled switching for compatible fans, pumps and other facility-support loads.
Industrial control buttons
Local operating and emergency interfaces for selected mechanical and electrical equipment.
Typical application areas
Information needed for product selection
Single-line diagram
Distribution levels, source paths, transformer data and circuit responsibilities.
Fault study
Prospective current and coordination objectives at each relevant point.
Load criticality
Classification, operating current and acceptable maintenance arrangement.
Switching duty
Load type, frequency of operation, coil voltage and auxiliary-contact needs.
Environment
Panel temperature, enclosure, altitude and installation constraints.
Documentation
Model schedule, labeling, inspection records and spare-product requirements.
Project benefits
- More transparent separation of critical and support loads
- Consistent device schedules across repeated facility areas
- Clearer inputs for maintenance and spare planning
- Practical procurement support without overstating system scope
